Operations Manager
Josh Martin is an experienced civil construction professional with more than 16 years’ experience across Australia and New Zealand. With a strong background in civil construction, roading, maintenance, plant and infrastructure, Josh brings extensive hands-on experience combined with practical operational leadership.
As Operations Manager at Rocka Excavation, Josh oversees day-to-day operations, including project planning, crew coordination, resource and equipment management, subcontractor coordination and supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion.
Josh’s previous roles with Higgins and Fletcher Construction have provided him with broad experience across maintenance operations, plant coordination, asset management, site delivery and team leadership. He has developed a strong understanding of what is required to keep projects moving safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Known for his practical and solutions-focused approach, Josh works closely with clients, project teams, crews and subcontractors to overcome challenges and deliver effective outcomes. He is passionate about improving systems, planning and processes to create safer, more efficient and better-organised operations.
At Rocka Excavation, Josh plays a key role in ensuring the company’s projects are well planned, resources are effectively managed, and teams have the support and direction they need to deliver quality results.
